Casey had her stomach emptying test done this morning. It's very boring and long test. She had to eat radioactive eggs at about 9:00am then stand with her belly towards the X-ray machine for 1 minute and then another minute with her back toward the X-ray machine. Then she got to sit and watch tv/play on her phone for an hour then X-rays again at ten, eleven, noon and one o'clock. So it takes 4 hours-boring but easy! She doesn't know the results at this time but probably tomorrow.
She had a visitor come talk to her about transplant! The visitor herself had/has Cystic Fibrosis and has had a lung transplant! So she and her mom got to talk and ask questions and really enjoyed the evening. Casey received a willow angel from her visitor also! So thoughtful!
Casey also got a goodies package from one of her best friends, Christy, her husband and son!!! Lots of cool stuff! She was very excited!
