I found this on Pinterest and it made me laugh! It is exactly how I am feeling. I have been MIA on here lately because of all the studying I've been doing. I take my fist final Monday and my last one next week. Thank goodness! This semester has been killing me! I need a little R&R!
Brooke is one of my friends from back home. We have been friends since high school. This woman has a heart of gold. She is by far, one of the most strongest people I know. Even with such a big loss, she has managed to see the positive and be an advocate for others who are now in her situation. Here is Brooke's Story:
Brooke at 18 weeks
I'll never forget when Brooke told me she was pregnant. I was still living in Texas at the time and I had flew in for a visit. I called Brooke to tell her I was in town and wanted to have lunch with her while I was in. We were making small talk when she announced she was pregnant. I was ecstatic for her!!!! I knew she would make such a wonderful mother! Then, she found out later, she wasn't having one, but two babies! Brooke was so excited to be having twins!
I loved watching the weeks go by and seeing the ultrasound pictures she would post of the babies. Brooke and her husband decided on some names: Hannah Jayne and Leah Denise.
