Wardrobe Wednesday...Halloween edition!

I LOVE holidays...any little holiday! Even though I went to a Halloween party over the weekend and dressed up, I still wanted to do something today.  I decided to wear a casual outfit with my red devil horns.

Jeans: Skinny Jeans

Boots: Shoe Dept (from 2 or 3 years ago)

 

M & I decided to both wear our horns today for class!

We have Halloween spirit!

My Fab 5 of the Week

This has been one of those weeks where I just want to pull my hair out! I feel like there just isn't enough time in the day to get everything I need done accomplished.

 

1.  This little guy was waiting on me when I got home earlier this week.

 

 

2. I got a surprise Halloween card from my friend S.  I love getting things in the mail other than bills :)

 

3. This weekend N & I went on a train ride.  I was worried because it was suppose to rain the whole day but thankfully it held off until after the ride :)

 

4. N & I carved pumpkins. While we were carving, I asked N if he ever did this before.  He told me no.  Holy Crap! How did I never know this? My husband was seriously deprived as a child!

 

5. N & I went to a friend's Halloween party this past weekend. He went as Granny/Wolf and I went as Little Red Riding Hood.  We had a great time!

Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness!

Today is wear pink day for Breast Cancer Awareness. I am wearing pink today in Honor of my beautiful cousin who is a breast cancer survivor and in memory of my Aunt's friend Becky, who passed away about 7 years ago.

What a great week it has been. This weekend I went back home to visit my family and help my friend with some wedding stuff.

 

1. The Pinta & Nina were in my hometown for Columbus Day. Read the Marietta Times article here.

My Halloween Nail Tips

This past week when I went to the salon I notice my hairdresser had her nails done.  They were so cute! They were french with black sparkly tips.  My nails grow entirely too fast for me to get them done professionally.  So I went to walmart and got those little french tip stickers. (I think they were only $1.98)

 

 

 

I used Essie's Licorice & Orly's Tiara

 

First I applied the little french tip stickers. (Make sure you push in the sides of sticker to your finger nail.  If it pops up a little while you are applying polish it will smear under the sticker.) Paint your tips black.

 

After it dries, paint your tips with the glitter color.

 

Let them dry!

 

 

Then remove them! Voila!

My Fab 5 of the Week

This week seemed to be extra long!!!

 

#1 I got it!!! I am so excited to read this book!

 

#2 School was crazy this week. I was having a bad day so I prayed. I was just wondering if this was the path I am meant to be on. Is this what I really want to do the rest of my life. I was just feeling down.  One little email changed that for me. (See:My Quote of the Day) Then, on Friday, I found out I made the Dean's list from last semester. That put a little pep in my step. :)

 

 

#3 One of my favorite shows is back on!!! I love heart of Dixie...it's so cute!

 

#4 This Saturday was the heart walk. The group I belong to at school walked in it. It was rainy, but nice day.

Have you ever felt like this?

I have been really down on myself lately and all it took was one email to change my outlook.

I have been praying and wondering  if the program I am in was really what I am meant to do, if I am even on the right path. I have been moody all week.  All that changed the other day when my prayers were answered and I got the email.  It was from one of my instructors saying she & another instructor think I am academically advanced, and organized.  They were wondering if I would join one of my schools organization.  They even asked me if I would be Vice President of the organization because they believe in me.  It completely changed my mood and outlook.  I need to keep the negative away so I can keep more positive in my life!
